Thanksgiving & Christmas 2015

I would normally separate a post like this, with two different occasions, but I'm feeling like I'm falling behind in a few things. So, to speed things up a bit I'm combing these two posts.

The first occasion was Thanksgiving of 2015! It was spent with my Mother's side of the family and held at my Grandmother's home (Moni's house). I love putting together a fine table for a fine meal.

The flowers used were roses, Peruvian lilies, chrysanthemums, leather leaf, and other greens and sticks picked from Moni's garden.

This year my Mom and I spent hours planning a head of time on how we wanted the centerpiece to look. We are thrilled with how it turned out. Exactly what we imagined. I love it when that happens. When you are able to create the beautiful picture you envision.

My sister Heather took these lovely Thanksgiving pictures. Thanks Heath!

For Christmas in 2015 my lil' family and I spent it with my husband's parents who live in Georgia. On Christmas Eve we literally had a feast! Family and friends gathered together in celebration of each other and the birth of our Savior. I asked my sweet mother-in-law, Donna, if I could put together some centerpieces for our Christmas meal and she said yes.

The centerpiece was literally greens from the  yard and extra Christmas ornaments and decorations.
You really can make something beautiful out of anything!

This is Donna's incredible Christmas tree! This has become one of my favorite parts about Christmas, seeing her tree. :) Love it!

These amazing pictures were taken by my sister-in-law, Hannah. Here is a link to her facebook page - Hannah Christensen Photography Thanks Hannah!

I hope these centerpieces inspire you to create your own beauty in your own homes.
Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas!
