Boho Floral Crown Photo Shoot

My family is full of photogenic people. They could all seriously be models. This is way nice when one needs a model to show off something.
I need to practice my hand at floral crowns for future brides; because floral crowns are becoming more and more popular. I spend the last week making floral crowns of all kinds, and yesterday I had my sister and my two teenage cousins help me model the crowns I've made.

When I approached my sister, Heather, with this idea we wanted to have fun with this photo shoot so we decided to make the photo shoot a bohemian theme or feel. We also got a little dramatic with our poses, but we had a lot of fun!

The first crown is what I called the "Wild Crown". The colors in this crown are a purple and mint. It went beautifully with Heather's new kimono.

I normally don't like to use fake flowers in any of the arrangements that I do; however, since I was just practicing with these I used fake ones in case I had to start any of the crowns all over again. So, I'm not going to say which flowers I used, because I just used the fake flowers I had. I mainly wanted certain looks; hence the "Wild Crown".

Here is a close up of the Wild Crown and the pink crown Heather is wearing.

This pink crown is a little more calm. I love how it adds a pop of color to Heather's outfit.

This is my sweet cousin Lucy who is also modeling the pink crown.

Lucy is modeling this next crown, that goes on the side of the head. It is a very simple crown and there is only one cluster of flowers instead of flowers completely covering the entire crown.

Here Lucy is wearing a purple and yellow crown. Before the shoot we all kept complementing Lucy on how beautiful her hair is. She has a natural golden tone and beautiful natural curly waves. I'm so jealous of her gorgeous hair! So, I really wanted to see her hair, so we only put a few braids in her hair to hold some of it back.

In the pictures above the girls are wearing the white crown. I actually made this crown two sided, because I wanted to try two different looks. The last picture is my cousin Naomi, and she is modeling the side of the white crown that is made of small white flowers. I love the simple and casual look.

I'm glad Naomi modeled for me! She has very good bone structure in her face, to emphasis that we wanted to a side ponytail with a hint of curl to show off her natural beauty! I told you, natural models who are very photogenic!

In this one Heather is modeling the side of the whiter crown with the white rose clusters. I love the elegant and fancy look of this side. I also just love this picture! Her eyes!

I actually love all of these pictures! I love having models in my family, especially when we do photo shoots. I also am falling in love with floral crowns! I'm excited to make more of these!

This is me, not wearing a crown, and trying to be dramatic. I actually like how this picture turned out. Thanks girls for helping me out! Love you!
